The Indonesian Apostolate at the Diocese of Metuchen is a non-profit, non-political, social and religious community serving the Indonesian Catholic community in the State of New Jersey and vicinity. Kerasulan Katolik Indonesia New Jersey (KKINJ) adalah suatu organisasi sosial dan keagamaan yang bersifat non-profit, non-politik yang melayani umat Katolik Indonesia di seluruh New Jersey dan sekitarnya.

KKINJ was founded on October 10, 2000, and was formally inducted into the Diocese of Metuchen under the auspices of Rev. Edgardo D. Abano, in October 2001. KKINJ didirikan pada tanggal 10 Oktober, 2000, dan secara resmi sudah bernaung dibawah Keuskupan Metuchen berkat bantuan Rev. Edgardo D. Abano pada bulan Oktober 2001.

The geographical differences between the residences of New Jersey and the Indonesian Apostolate of New York (KKI-NY), which is based in Brooklyn, New York, prompted the founding of KKINJ as a separate yet integral extension of KKI-NY. Perbedaan geografis antara New Jersey dan Kerasulan Katolik Indonesia di New York (KKI-NY), yang bertempat di Brooklyn, New York, mendorong berdirinya KKINJ sebagai bagian dari KKI-NY.

The Diocese of Metuchen, specifically, the St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church in Piscataway, Central New Jersey (208 Bound Brook Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Phone: (732) 885-5313), is the home base of KKINJ, and provides the permanent place of worship and social gathering. KKINJ celebrates mass once every month, usually on the third Sunday. Keuskupan Metuchen, tepatnya Gereja St. Francis Cabrini di Piscataway, NJ, adalah tempat bernaung dan basis KKINJ, dan menyediakan tempat yang permanen untuk beribadah dan bertemu secara sosial. KKINJ menyelenggarakan misa sekali setiap bulan, pada umumnya di hari Minggu ke-tiga.

The organization is open to all Indonesians and non-Indonesians, Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Website ini hendaklah dijadikan sarana komunikasi antar sesama anggota dan para simpatisan yang menyangkut aktivitas, acara, dan pengumuman. Organisasi kami melayani umat Indonesia dan non-Indonesia yang berkediaman di sekitar New Jersey/New York City.
